I’m Justin Gary and I’ve been designing games for over 20 years. I'm the creator of some exciting games like Ascension Deckbuilding Game, SolForge Fusion, and Shards of Infinity. And just to sprinkle in a little more fun trivia, I'm also a Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour winner.

You might have stumbled upon my book, "Think Like a Game Designer," or you might be a listener of my podcast, "Think Like A Game Designer Podcast." And hey, I even had a blast as a guest on The Tim Ferriss Show not too long ago!

I've had the incredible privilege of interviewing some of the greatest game designers in the world. I've soaked up their wisdom, taken their lessons to heart, and then applied those insights to my professional and private life.

There are currently two ways to subscribe:

• Free Subscribers will still get access to my podcast episodes, show notes and articles. The articles will be archived after two months, which means you’ll have plenty of time to read and absorb all the lessons.

• Paid subscribers get full access to all the articles and podcasts, including those which have been archived. They’ll also unlock an additional newsletter called The Designer, which will include more comprehensive design lessons. This premium content may also feature educational videos, interactive assignments, supporting content from the podcast, and other unique posts. Additionally, the comments section for paid articles will be a unique space aimed at nurturing a community brimming with educational value and creative energy.
